halo: reach?

anybody gonna get it? the videos for it are very nice, revamped weapons, graphics, and a ton of tweaks in whatever engine halo is using

Ever thought of reading the books until then so you can get more of the back story?

I saw this game when I was looking for upcoming games for the 360, It looks BA, I am thinking the next game I get will be Mass Effect 2 though

I've read the books, yeah. Reach was a military planet for the UNSC where they developed the Spartan IIs and Spartan IIIs, it's one of the first planets (right after Harvest) that the Covenant attacks, reducing the planet to what they all refer to as glass. Harvest was the first planet attacked by the covenant, more specifically the Brute species. The elites were met later on during attacks on planets like Reach. The fall of Reach takes place just days before the first title (Halo: Combat Evolved) and before we're put behind the eyes of the protagonist Master Chief (his name is John apparently). I've read both Contact Harvest and The Flood, and I know the general idea of Reach. They are really good books for those who are into sci-fi.

Read them all before getting onto Horus Heresy. Not a console player myself. Need keyboard and mouse too much

Oh by way anyone watched Halo Legends dvd too? It not big deal but in first two episodes is useful to understand how war is start... can anyone guess who cause it?
