In a world with too much browsers being used at the same time, it's a nightmare to check if your website works in all different versions. Especially if the versions of the browsers can't be installed seperatly, like IE which you always have to upgrade. I came across a tool that installs all versions of IE so far, from 1.5 to 8.0 and you can use them all. So you can open which ever version you'd like to test your webpage in and see what it looks like.
It's called Internet Explore collection and can be found here (http://finalbuilds.edskes.net/iecollection.htm) (website, the download is on there and about 55 meg's).
Last word of advice, install it on a virtual machine if you can and only use the older version for your testing purposes, don't go browsing the web in any of them. There's some serious security issues with versions of IE prior to 7.
