Hello,

It is 4pm in the UK. I usually come on 8am-8:40am then go to work. If my girlfriend is at work when I get back and I'm not playing darts, then I will be on in the evening as well, usually until she comes back, or I play on my mates server - makes me wonder if he cheats you know?

At the moment the only real time I do succeed in getting on (when she isn't busting my ass), is if she is working Friday night or Saturday. Saturdays are awesome as I can play all day and drink Guinness. Now before you say I am heartless - I do wash the dishes and I do cook. I earn the most and pay virtually all the bills, so only fair after having stupid users at work whining and busting my ass, I can let off steam as shoot people.

I played MOTA last night, and we were joined by someone else (can't remember their name), but it was 4:30pm to my 10:30pm.

"Wow! That's late" - said MOTA.

Hahahahahaha...... well I would say that, but my missus started yawning then started moaning at me. Bah! Foiled again.

I know a lot of FUN Clan members are tucked up in bed when I play in a morning, or really kicking into life when my girlfriend grumbles for me to come to bed. But wondering if we could have a poll.

Where do people live, what time differences are there, and what times are people likely to be around? I have bumped into MOTA, Old Man, and S.I.N.Five, other clan members I get kicked into next week.

Any members on Facebook, I'll send out an invite to something and we can hook up on a FUN server and have a session? Some of my work mates play UT99, and be nice to see them get a kicking :D

Incidentally what does FUN-IT mean? I think I read it, but most likely forgot.

Thanks

That's the problem. If there were to be a clan match against another clan, most people live in the US, so "super subs" on the bench are a bit out of the equation.

Another important rule is never ever make a brilliant poached egg and put it between two slices of toast. Then don't bite into it replying to this post - because your girlfriend will come and sit down and say "What are you doing?", then comment "What's that". then comment "Feck!" when they discover egg yolk (sounds rude) on their dressing gown.

:D Opps!

That is where it gets interesting. I have been playing in a league for a couple of years, not to mention been in 2 clans, and have noticed one thing. Most matches/rumbles take place at respectable times. Granted most rumbles happen at night (US time), but we schedule a majority of our matches on the weekends and at deceit times. Most of the FN matches that I play in are on Saturday or Sunday around 12pm to 4pm EST. We do have Euro players in this wonderful group. Just 'cause its majority of the players are across the pond doesn't mean we don't want to get stuff done so we can have time the rest of the day.

Not sure about that, but most times are posted in EST, so everyone can easily calculate at what local time an event will start.

It really is like Motor said, the people that arrange the matches (wether it be FN captians or Clan match coordinators) try to set it up at decent times for the whole clan, but since everyone has their own schedule and alot of people are in different timezones, you can't please everyone at the same time.

Personally I don't see this as an issue within FUN: good job on the coordinators/captians!

no the 5 min late time zone is PST.....and that would be Phil Standard Time. there is also EPST, which is early phil standard time, and that is when you intentially set your clock 20 min fast so you can possibly show up 5 min early and combat PST!!!!

My girlfriend seems to use the phrase "Beertime" a lot. But it is beer time for me any chance I get.
