This is what I use at the University when I have to upload huge amounts of data like maps and back-ups. It really screams and it's slower than usual today. It usually pulls at least 1100 KB/sec on the upload rate. Have a good one.

I'm thinking that either they downgraded or were having issues but I was told it was a T3 connection shared between 8 machines at one time. It's magic to watch a 15 meg map go screaming up in about 4 seconds. At home, it takes me about a minute to up the same map.:D With that connection, I could host about 20 servers and never have a problem. Have a good one.

Here is a speedtest for our current dedicated box that we run all our servers and teamspeak on. Check out the upload rate!!!

Scary is what it is. This is probably the easiest way to show why running a server at home really doesn't work out. Have a good one.
